Manchmal ist ein einfacher Zylinder das Ziel. Andere Male bildet er nur den Ausgangspunkt. Im Laufe von 3 Tagen werden wir die unendliche Formenpalette des Zylinders erkunden: gerade und bauchige Vasen, schmale und ausladende Flaschen…

• Dauer: 15 Stunden

• Kleingruppe: max. 6 Teilnehmer*innen.

• Brände sind nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Pro Teilnehmer*in brennen wir maximal 10 Stücke. Für diese berechnen wir eine Glasier- und Brenngebühr von 15€/Kilo. Alle anderen Stücke bereiten wir wieder auf, damit der Ton weiter verwendet werden kann.

• für (leicht) Fortgeschrittene geeignet. Das Drehen eines gleichmäßigen Zylinders mit 300-500 g Ton sollte kein Problem mehr darstellen.

• für Kaffee und Tee ist gesorgt.

Altersvoraussetzung: 16+
Alle Kurse finden in unserer Werkstatt in Zirl statt.

Sometimes a straight-sided cylinder is all we want to throw, and other times it is just the starting point. Over the course of three days we will explore a whole range of forms that derive from cylinders: straight and bellied vases, tall and squat bottles,…

• Duration: 15 hours

• Small group: a maximum of 6 participants.

• Firings are not included in the course fee. We glaze and fire a maximum of 10 pieces per participant at an additional cost of 15€ per kilo of fired work. Pots not selected for firing will be recycled and cannot be taken away.

• Previous experience required: yes. You should be able to throw a 300-500g cylinder with even thickness from top to bottom.

• We will provide tea and coffee.

Age requirement: 16+
All courses take place in our workshop in Zirl, Austria.
