Unser intensives TON Wochenende ermöglicht ein zweitägiges Eintauchen in den Entstehungsprozess handgedrehter Keramik. An einer eigenen Scheibe übt jede*r Teilnehmer*in Techniken wie Drehen, Abdrehen und Henkelziehen während die Anwesenheit und Anleitung von uns beiden für einen besonders guten Betreuungsschlüssel sorgt.

Beim Unterrichten passen wir uns an die individuellen Bedürfnisse unserer Kursteilnehmer*innen an, um sie dort abzuholen, wo sie gerade stehen... sei das bei der allerersten Schale, beim Seriendrehen oder dem Entwerfen und Verwirklichen komplexer Formen.

• Dauer: 10 Stunden, Samstag und Sonntag von 10:00-16:00 mit je einer Stunde Mittagspause

• Brände sind nicht im Preis inbegriffen: Nein. Pro Teilnehmer*in brennen wir maximal 8 Stücke. Für diese berechnen wir eine Glasier- und Brenngebühr von 15€/Kilo. Alle anderen Stücke bereiten wir wieder auf, damit der Ton weiter verwendet werden kann.

Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Our TON weekend intensive offers an immersive experience. Over the course of two days, you will see the making process from start to finish. This will include demonstrations of throwing, trimming, handle making and lots of time to practice. Each participant will have their own wheel for the duration of the course. There will be two instructors present to ensure that you get as much guidance as possible.

Weekend courses are scalable to each participant's individual needs, so whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced maker, we will take it from there and provide you with guidance appropriate to your skill level.

• Duration: 10 hours, Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm with an hour's break at lunchtime

• Firings are not included in the course fee. We glaze and fire a maximum of 8 pieces per participant at an additional cost of 15€ per kilo of fired work. Pots not selected for firing will be recycled and cannot be taken away.

• Open to all levels.

Age requirement: 16+
All our courses are held in our workshop in Zirl, Austria.
